Here is the simplest and most efficient method of lighting your windshield. On most Goldwing bikes, all that's required is a small Allen wrench, 12 volts and the hiding of a small-diameter wire and you are ready to ride.
Casings are available in both chrome and Gold plated pieces. All Owl windshield lights use the flexible surface mount technology and straight or curved casings to fit most windshields.
Windshield Accent Light Kits include a chrome billet aluminum holder for the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) LED to fit on the windshield above the headlight. Aluminum holders are available in both straight and curved designs to accommodate all windshield types (note: tinted windshields do not transfer light and can not be lit up).
Kits are available in Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Aqua and Purple (UV). Each includes SMT LEDs (which are installed using the straight or curved aluminum holder), a water proof switch with rubber boot, a fuse holder and fuse, heat shrink tubing, a hex wrench (used to attach the aluminum holder to the windshield using small pressure screws), cable ties, 22 gauge two conductor wire and installation instructions.
